In view of a project cooperation (clinical phase 3) between Institute Ulm and a biotech company based in Amsterdam, we are looking for a

Supervisor technical assistant (m/f) - Gruppenleitung Technischer Laborassistent (m/w)

at the earliest possible date.

As a supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise and coach the technical assistants (this includes accountability for the performance and results of the direct reports and accountability for teamwork)

  • Prepare the planning and scheduling of the activities on site

  • Be part of the team that executes the clinical manufacturing activities on site, including review of batch records

  • Work according to GMP and local regulatory requirements

  • Keep the manufacturing activities up-to-date in order to meet production needs in terms of timing, quantity, quality, safety, health and environment

  • Implement policies and procedures and implement continuous improvement programs

  • Responsible for training of the team

  • Interact with the Quality Assurance department to manage document review/approval planning and ensures compliance with GMP

  • Communicate with the headquarters in Amsterdam about manufacturing strategy/vision and changes

  • Organizing a robust communication line to all other relevant stakeholders of the organization

The ideal candidate
  • Has been certified as a MTLA, BTLA or PTLA, or equivalent

  • Has several years of experience in a similar role

  • Has experience with working in clean rooms and in biosafety cabinets

  • Has interest in the development and execution of manufacturing processes in the field of Cell Therapy

  • Has know-how and experience in the field of Cell Therapy or with cell cultures.

  • Has experience with Cell Therapy related analytical methods (like flow cytometry)

  • Has appropriate language skills (German: mother tongue; English: fluently spoken and written)
